Frequently asked questions

Where can we access services?

Our clinicians travel and provide support in the child's natural environment. This is typically at the children's childcare setting (home or learning center).

What age do you work with?

Our current clinicians specialize in Early Intervention. This is typically age 18 months to 5 years old. Once children turn 5, we support families in transitioning the child to the most appropriate educational setting.

How do we pay for services?

Most heatlth insurance plans cover 80-100% of services if a child has an Autism diagnosis. Some plans require partial payment or a co-pay. Before services begin, we will have families sign a financial responsibility disclosure to ensure you are fully aware of the cost associated with therapy. Progressive Pathways also accepts private pay. (inquire for current rates)

How long can we receive support?

Each authorization period covers 6 months at a time. At the 6 month period, a reassessment will be conducted and a recommendation will be made for future services.

Does my child need an Autism diagnosis?

No. Any child can receive support from us. However, at this time, insurance plans will only cover therapy if a child has an Autism diagnosis. Children without a diagnosis can receive services via private pay.
